Springtime, just like birthdays, reminds us of how we can constantly be reborn and reinvent ourselves. Not only can we, but we must; it is the natural order of things. My thoughts reflecting on this new decade I’ve stepped into revolve around who that person shall be. It’s frightening and invigorating all at once. 💫 I’m not one to get fussy about ages, but I do find milestones help keep a sense of urgency to life. We all want to make our mark, don’t we?

// Not enough people have called me out on not talking about @letourdefrance. 🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏼‍♂️ Who’s been watching? I’ve been a bit busy with other things lately, but now that I’m settled in the States for a bit I can now properly pine for the French countryside 😆🚲 like I always do when I watch.

It has me thinking back to my own little Tour de France - or, rather, a little part of it, two years ago when I cycled through @les_yvelines. Such beautiful scenery as we rode then stopped at lovely accommodations, such as @lagrangedelaguesle in the evenings. When I say I’m fed up with Paris it’s usually because I’ve been deprived too long of scenes like these, and yet they’re not far outside the capital. 🤩
