It was a celebration of French creativity, including @ysl makeup tutorials… with a view. 🤩 Oh, and something else to celebrate… the new wellness space inside the department store. Springtime, just like birthdays, reminds us of how we can constantly be reborn and reinvent ourselves. Not only can we, but we must; it is the natural order of things. My thoughts reflecting on this new decade I’ve stepped into revolve around who that person shall be. It’s frightening and invigorating all at once. 💫 I’m not one to get fussy about ages, but I do find milestones help keep a sense of urgency to life. We all want to make our mark, don’t we?

// Not enough people have called me out on not talking about @letourdefrance. 🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏼‍♂️ Who’s been watching? I’ve been a bit busy with other things lately, but now that I’m settled in the States for a bit I can now properly pine for the French countryside 😆🚲 like I always do when I watch.

It has me thinking back to my own little Tour de France - or, rather, a little part of it, two years ago when I cycled through @les_yvelines. Such beautiful scenery as we rode then stopped at lovely accommodations, such as @lagrangedelaguesle in the evenings. When I say I’m fed up with Paris it’s usually because I’ve been deprived too long of scenes like these, and yet they’re not far outside the capital. 🤩
